HE'S BACK!

One of my best friends from college is back in town--which is kind of weird to say because although he and I are both originally from Japan, we probably have more memories from a little town called Poughkeepsie, New York ("can I get you some free coffee?") and a slightly bigger town called Seattle, Washington (Bus #74) . But Tokyo isn't a bad place to make more memories, right?? Korakuen baybeeeeeee!! I say we're in pretty good shape in terms of staying true to our international natures.

So, you see, it's super duper hot in Tokyo. And especially my house, where we choose to live without that God-send miracle of a machine, The AC. The boys with their fur coats must have been in hell. Seriously, sorry boys. They did get a haircut recently, though, and are in air condition rooms all the time now.

Tokyo Bay Fireworks 2007

Thanks to Jam's gorgeous bachlorette pad, Ninapod and I enjoyed a fabulous view of the Tokyo Bay Fireworks this past Saturday. Actually, I think this is the first time I've seen the Tokyo Bay Fireworks, ever! (Can it be??)

OK OK, so this is about My Work. Which only one person voted to hear about (Mom?). But for the rest of ya, that's because you thought I was going to talk about desk work, right? Or what so-and-so from company XYZ and I talked about, and when?? As if! I have much more pressing matters to attend to, like cleaning up dog poop and growing Venus Fly Traps on the company veranda. And sometimes I sing in television commercials.... (But only when the dogs are at the spa.)
