Wooo!
If I owned a shop I would name it "Wooo!"
Totally.
(Yes it actually says Wood. Shamefully unoriginal!)
LOST
-AC adapter for computer at work
I'm going to start keeping track. I still haven't found my Very Important Notebook for work and today had no choice but to buy a Moleskin for ¥1,800. (GASP! It's only ¥864 ($1 = ¥90) here!!) But the moleskin is pretty cool.
Aussie-Macau boy says I would lose my head if it weren't attached to my body. It's... probably true!!!
PS Aussie-Macau boy and I are back ON. Juicy gossips to follow pending public demand. What happened? I read my post below and was moved (sniff sniff). Just kidding, I read a quote that said "if you don't make your own path you end up somewhere else"* or something like that and decided that I'm going to get over being a commitment-phobe** and just accept reality. The reality is he's always there for me when I need him and as well makes me happy. Which, when I think about it, is like: WOW! I don't know why I'm so not into this relationship as I am normally, but, again, the reality is it's been 9 months and he's the only one I'm seeing. So. Next step.
Also, I read another quote that made me decide this which was something like "don't feel sorry for yourself too long because then you will be a loser"***.
* If you don't know where you are going, you'll end up some place else. Yogi Berra
** True quote from Miss Ai, circa December 2008 "I might commit to something one day. Maybe."
*** When one door closes another opens. But often we look so long so regretfully upon the closed door that we fail to see the one that has opened for us. Helen Keller
OK OK here it is:

SK-IIng
Actually, I have almost stopped SK-II'ing. Guess what. If you exercise, drink water, eat fruits, and don't put a lot of foundation on, your skin glows. So I'm saving my monthly donation at the SK-II counter for a few years down the road (though I do use good eye cream and may use theirs based on the sample I have. Plus I have their masks--yes, I know, jealous yet??--and it is helpful to have them for that twice a month picker up-er. What is in SK-II anyway?? Magic?!)
No, what I am talking about is skiING. Yes. I am a skier. However, I also enjoy the snowboard. I feel like I'm dating the enemy. Oooh... exciting.
You see, I thought I was going to try snowboarding and know that my true love are (is?) the ski's. However, ladies and gentlemen, let this be a lesson to all of us: your true love doesn't choose you, you choose it. Candidates are there to complicate situations. I think it's OK to know your options, but, at least for me, the longer I have options the longer I don't choose. It's important to decide, and when you cannot, just eliminate. So here it goes..
Snowboarding is... different. Younger. Laid back. Hard to turn but smoother ride.
Skiing is... a bit clunky. Traditional. Faster runs down the mountain.
I found out that liking them both is asking for trouble. In my case, I know if I don't settle I will never buy my own pair of boarding boots or that Prada ski suit. This means I'll be renting forever and that I'll never get really good at either. Meaning, it's a waste of time and I won't look good while I'm doing it. Wow, that sucks!
So. I choose to ski. Sure I'll go boarding once in a while--why not! I'm not married to my ski's. But I know my stance, and actually, that gives me more respect for the sport of boarding and those who chose it.
Let's not waste time. Let's live in the present, launch ourselves on every wave, and find eternity in each moment! (Thanks DT). Perhaps that is what it means to choose.

HALP!
My mind is not keeping up with my body. I think it has to do with December 2008. One day I am a shopowner, next day a news director. Apparently it's brain... over.... loaddddddd.......
I am--suddenly--leaving important items unattended for hours and days. Example: when I went skiing/snowboarding the other day (oh yeah I'll let you know the verdict later. It's... unexpected), I bought fresh strawberries to eat at the lodge. I left it on the boots drying rack. Next day I left my gloves... on the boots drying rack. Both times I didn't realize until 12 hours later, and both times someone else found them for me. WTF!!
More examples: I have officially lost my Very Important Notebook for work where I keep all my gazillions of notes, like where the archived videos are, who everyone is, what this kanji says, passwords to the Recdep... All of a sudden, gone. And I know I left it somewhere unattended because I was using it one minute, and then not the next. NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Also, I left more important papers stacked right across from my locker at the Ministry of.. I mean, That Place I Work, for 12 hours, in the wide open. Just left it. Right across from my locker. And I have no memory of taking it out or putting it there. Crap...
My brain needs to get back to its normal state. This three day weekend should help.
Oh and by the way I suddenly have ten silver hairs on the front part of my head. If things keep going like this I might just look like the Asian Bonnie Raitt.
HALP!

スキー大好きー♪♪
Hitting the slopes for the third time this season tomorrow♪♪♪
On this trip I will be snowboarding for the first time. I'm going to find out if it's all it's cut out to be. If it is AWESOME I am going to buy snowboarding boots. If it isn't, I am buying myself a Prada ski oufit to declare my position as a true blood skier forever.
But you know, I gotta do my research first.
Do you like my purple outfit? I'm lovin' it!! (It's so if I get lost, peeps can find me :D) (Those people behind on the lift are like totally blinded by its purpleness.)
