I feel like I have a missing piece of my heart back. My feet are light when I head home, and I can't wait to get home!

And I'm not talking about the Beaujolais!

Humidify!

This humidifier always reminds us of T and P, Favorite People, because
they gave it to us when they left Tokyo for HK. And now, they are
expecting a Little One on Monday!!

My little ones I think enjoy the humidifier too, as Poppo has, what
appears to be, super dry skin. (This is in addition to food allergies,
shampoo allergies, and whatever other Bug of the Day.) Hopefully the
beautiful weather today and a slightly lavender-mint-tinged humidified
air will bring him some peace while Mom's bringing home the bacon.

ってかすっごい自慢。していいですか？？

今日お豆腐屋さんに立ち寄った際に（最近超〜〜ハマってます。特に湯葉に。そして今日は初豆乳にトライ！これまたバリウマ！！）（ミルクが飲めないから、てっきり豆乳も似たような味・においかと思ってたけど大間違いでした。私は塩をふって飲みましたが非常にいいい味でした。）

んで話長くなっちゃったけど、お豆腐屋さんに立ち寄ったら店主に「これ以上奇麗になるの？」だって。

Last night there was an "announcers party" after work. It was rather small, and with only the international division anchors/reporters, but VIPS of the ministry showed up and we all schmoozed.

The man who hired me was there as well. After a few glasses of wine he told me he had a hunch that I would quit soon after entering the ministry. I asked him why, bitch?? (that last word was silent) and he said, "because you were motivated, and motivated people sometimes get disheartened after seeing the reality of everyday work and quit right away."

I see his point.
I know it is easy to "hype" up something (especially when you are excited about it) so you sprint at the shot gun but quickly tire yourself out.

But little did he know, a long long time ago my mama told me one of the most important things in life is "persistence".
My friends and cousins have told me, repeatedly throughout the last year, "stick it out for a few years." (After they practically betted I'd quit after the first month, but that's another story.)
And I did a horrible, horrible season of track in high school where a fellow student told me "80% of winning is showing up to the meet."

So I knew when I went in, that I was concentrating on the "clocking in time."

I don't know what kind of opportunities I'm passing up by sticking to this job.
I'm in a better place than last year, and probably that's a good thing.
BUT I *do* think, how in the WORLD can I retire on this intsy bintsy salary??? That, I have to work on.
Luckily I'm still 26 and in top physical condition!

There is no real conclusion to this post.

I would like to add, however, that I am using darker eye make up, more blush on cheeks, and I think it looks better.
(The secret is to put white sparkly eye make up on the inner corners of your eyes.)

Ahhhh, my baby!

Today the boys gobbled down special allergy-safe food from the new
vet. Hallelujah!! They never touched the other samples before, and as
regular food seems to irritate Poppo's skin I was starting to get
hopeless.

I think Poppo may also be reacting well--by not reacting at all, of
course--to special anti-bacterial shampoo from the old vet. Hurray!!

Both results are way too early to access, but I'm getting excited.
