I didn't hear the reference to "good economic data," but what was the story re "anyways,"--did you use that word first, then change it to "separately" at someone's suggestion?
"Anyways" is not a regular-business-conversation word at all, it's kind of a slangy,almost "back-water" (so to speak) expression. You were given good advice.
I see...."anyway" meaning something like "on a separate note"....yes, David gave you good advice. But don't let anyone, even David John, ESPECIALLY David John, sway you too much about your mistakes....When you make them, be proud, everybody else is out there making them too. You've just joined the club.

I said "Anyway" (sorry not anyways) and David B was like "you said 'Anyway' on air?!?!?!?!?" and he pointed out separately was a better alternative.
