Friday: girls night out. Below us is Heartland's rowdy 500 yen-a-beer crowd, here is the roudy 1,500-a-cocktail crowd. At least we get to sit, eat hors de vors, dress up a bit. We are at the Grand Hyatt, after all. We clink to complimentary bubbly, I think because we knew the waiters. Later, a great Bloody Mary: ask for it spicy. Pictured, marinated olives with sour dough.
I am adding a new section to my entries called "It's a Small Tokyo" where I count how many people I run into (when I do) in one day. I tell you peeps, it's a small Tokyo. Today's was Beau, at the Oak Door.
